NJAM Leadership

Pastor Steven Kulzer

Pastor Steve became a minister in 2007 and has experience planting multiple ministries, pastoring youth, as a Sunday school teacher, director of children’s ministry, associate pastor, and senior pastor. After planting Rooted Oak Church, the Lord planted a vision in his heart for the communities of New Jersey, and directed Pastor Steve, along with Pastors Steve D. and Vas A., to plant NJAM (New Jersey Association of Microchurches) and begin the work of uniting the many microchurches across New Jersey for the purpose of spreading the Gospel message, strengthening the Body of Christ, supporting each other in ministry and prayer, Christian fellowship, spiritual growth, and providing much needed ministry to the surrounding communities of New Jersey.

Pastor Steven DiSebastian

In 2016, Steve DiSebastian left his job as a full time English teacher to enter into full time ministry. Now, along with Pastor Vas, Steve is a chapter director and “community apologist” at Rutgers University for Ratio Christi, a campus ministry dedicated to thoughtful Christianity. He also teaches Bible to high school seniors at Timothy Christian School. After becoming a church planter with the North American Mission Board/Send Network, Steve started his microchurch, Anchor Church (formerly PCC Edison), in 2020. Steve holds an M.Div from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of Reintroducing Jesus: Uncovering Jesus in the Misinformation Age. For better or for worse, Steve has lived in New Jersey for as long as he can remember. He also really likes jiujitsu. You can find out more about Pastor Steve’s ministries at ConfidenceInChrist.org.
